At Balance Psychiatry & Mental Health, I offer comprehensive Psychiatric and Mental Health services to children, adolescents and adults. 

I specialize in working with women and young women who need help with Women's Issues, Medication Management, Pregnancy/Prenatal/Postpartum Mood Disorders, Abortion Grief/Issues, Depression/Anxiety/Bipolar Disorders, Prolonged Grief, Substance Use Disorders, Trauma/PTSD, Sexual Abuse, Sex/Human Trafficking, Intimate Partner Violence and Domestic Violence.

I am a welcoming, open-minded and compassionate Dual Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric & Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and I would be honored to collaborate and support you as you embrace your healing journey and move toward mental health wellness.

If you or your child/adolescent are experiencing any of the following signs and symptoms of imbalance, please know you have come to a safe place:

  • Extreme mood changes, including uncontrollable “highs” or feelings of euphoria
  • Prolonged or strong feelings of irritability or anger
  • Avoiding friends and social activities
  • Difficulties understanding or relating to other people
  • Changes in sleeping habits or feeling tired and low energy
  • Changes in eating habits such as increased hunger or lack of appetite
  • Changes in sex drive
  • Difficulty perceiving reality (delusions or hallucinations, in which a person experiences and senses things that don't exist in objective reality)
  • Inability to perceive changes in one’s own feelings, behavior, or personality (lack of insight)
  • Overuse of substances like alcohol or drugs
  • Multiple physical ailments without obvious causes (such as headaches, stomach aches, vague and ongoing “aches and pains”)
  • Thinking about suicide
  • Inability to carry out daily activities or handle daily problems and stress

My Philosophy
